A proven methodology to enhance your safe space

Say goodbye to stress and hello to peaceful living

Our home is one of the only things we can fully control in our lives, so it’s a powerful action when we say no to an item we don’t want or release something by removing it from our home. If an item hasn’t lifted up your spirits in a long time, ridding your home of it will release a subconscious heaviness that has been building up for years.

Sometimes we have to say “no” to learn how to enthusiastically say “YES”–you will learn the power of both in our work together.

We’ll discuss how to you want to feel in your space while at home.

We’ll create a design plan to ensure our vision meets your expectations.

We’ll get to work curating your home to match your preferences.

We work with a team of experts and will connect you with the right person for the job. Do you need a painter, carpet cleaner, landscaper, photographer, personal design shopper, project manager?

We can do it all, just ask and we will provide the perfect crew to meet your home needs!

Yvette Jacquez

As a young child, I was fascinated by the ability to transform the energy of a space just by moving things around and creating flow. I could usually be found cleaning out my grandmother’s closets, cabinets, and dressers, uncovering all of these treasures that had been hidden for years.

Fast forward a number of years and it became my closets, cabinets, and dressers that got my attention. But, wanting a neat and tidy space isn’t the same as having one! I reached a point that I was overwhelmed with the amount of stuff I owned — to the point where I was in tears.

When I learned about the KonMari method by Mari Kondo, something clicked. The idea of “joy” became a fundamental part of my home and I created a space where I loved everything in it. By uplifting my home, I saw the same effects spill over into happier relationships, better job opportunities, and more fulfilling use of my time. A rising tide lifts all boats.

I’m here to help you shed light on what’s already in your home: beauty! Don’t underestimate the power of change.

The Story Behind Outside/In

Yvette's philosophy of what "home" means is rooted in her own story.

Interior decluttering, design and decorating is in my blood — I can’t enough of it! I’ve been homemaking since I was a child and it makes my heart sing.

Even when I’m not actually designing a space, my mind is always going back to how a room or space feels. I love textures and mixing elements that may not seem to “fit." Functional beauty is my jam.

I'm a firm believer that the things we use daily should be beautiful. If we have to stare at it sitting on our counter or on our desk, why shouldn't it be aesthetically pleasing at the same time? Plus, it cuts down on clutter when your regular items are art in themselves!

Over the years, I’ve found that the more my home is filled with what I want, the more my outside life follows suit. When we love how our home looks, we feel it deep down in ourselves.

My goal is for people to love and cherish the moments spent in their home. I know how much of a difference it has made in my life!
People tend to hold onto things over the years because we think that “we are supposed to," even if we don’t actually like them. I'm here to help people learn what they really like.

It fills me up to give people a space that they love. I have a saying: “Just because there is an empty wall doesn’t mean you need to fill it.” This goes for everything in our lives! I hereby grant you permission to ask yourself: What do you truly want?

Your home is a slice of you. Let's make it feel that way.
