Simple, Effective Design for a More Comfortable Home
Make your space work for you and your well-being.
The Story Behind Outside/In
Yvette’s philosophy about what “home” truly means is deeply rooted in her own journey.
Interior design, home renovations, and decorating have always been part of who I am—I simply can’t get enough of it! I’ve been creating and caring for homes since I was a child, and it genuinely makes my heart sing.
Even when I’m not actively designing a space, my mind always returns to how a room feels. I love combining textures and mixing unexpected elements that might not seem to “fit” at first glance. For me, functional beauty is everything.
I firmly believe that the everyday things we use should also be beautiful. If we’re going to see items on our counters or desks day after day, why not make them aesthetically pleasing? Plus, when your everyday essentials are like works of art, it naturally cuts down on clutter.
Over time, I’ve discovered that the more my home reflects what I truly want, the more my life outside it falls into harmony. When we love how our home looks and feels, it resonates deep within us.
My goal is to help people love and cherish the moments they spend in their homes—I know firsthand the profound difference it makes.
Many of us hold onto things simply because we think we’re “supposed to,” even if we don’t actually love them. I’m here to help you uncover what you really like—and what brings you joy.
It fills me with purpose to create spaces that people genuinely adore. I have a saying: “Just because there’s an empty wall doesn’t mean you need to fill it.” This idea applies to so much more than walls—it’s permission to ask yourself, What do I truly want?
Your home is a slice of you. Let's make it feel that way.
The Power of Letting Go
Our home is one of the few things in life we can fully control—so choosing what stays (and what goes) is a powerful act. Saying no to an item that no longer serves you is more than decluttering; it's emotional release. When we let go of objects that no longer bring us joy, we often release a subconscious weight we didn’t even realize we were carrying.
Sometimes, we need to learn how to say “no” in order to enthusiastically say “YES” to the things that truly matter. You’ll discover the power of both as we work together to design a space that supports who you are—and who you're becoming.
We’ll discuss how to you want to feel in your space while at home.
We’ll create a design plan to ensure our vision meets your expectations.
We’ll get to work curating your home to match your preferences.
We work with a team of experts and will connect you with the right person for the job.
Do you need a general contractor, carpet cleaner, landscaper, architect, realtor?

Yvette Jacquez
As a mother and military spouse who has moved more times than I can count, I deeply understand the importance of creating a home that feels grounding, personal, and truly yours. Every new place was an opportunity—not just to decorate, but to design a space that evoked comfort, connection, and joy.
What sets me apart from other designers is that I believe how a home feels matters more than what fills it. Anyone can walk into a store and pick out matching pieces—but if the emotional connection isn’t there, the space will still feel flat. My goal is to help my clients uncover and create the version of their home they didn’t even know they wanted.
I work closely with each client to understand what’s underneath the surface—their habits, memories, preferences, and quirks—so I can design in a way that speaks their language. That’s when the magic happens: when design goes beyond aesthetics and taps into emotion.
I’ve been designing since I was 13 without even realizing it—rearranging furniture, organizing my grandmother’s cabinets, uncovering hidden treasures in drawers and closets. I was always drawn to the transformation that happens when you bring intention to a space.
Now, I help others do the same. I believe your home already holds beauty—it’s just waiting to be uncovered. Whether you're starting fresh in a new space or refreshing one you've outgrown, I’m here to help you transform it from the inside out.
Because when your home reflects your soul, everything else flows.
"We shape our homes and then our homes shape us."
